Step-by-step instruction will guide every part of the icon writing process.

Daily morning prayer, curated for this icon, will enrich the spiritual experience.

Supply package will be mailed 1-2 weeks in advance of the retreat via USPS Priority Mail.

Supply package includes an 8x10" gessoed wooden panel, gold leaf & instructional packet.

Icon Details​​​​​
Writing the icon of The Woman at the Well invites us into the intimate and transformative encounter between Christ and the Samaritan woman. In this meeting, Jesus reveals her deepest truth—not to shame her, but to awaken her to the living water He offers. Her story becomes our story: one of being seen, known, and gently called into new life. As we engage with this icon through prayer and paint, we open ourselves to that same encounter. This online retreat offers space to listen for the voice of Christ in our own hearts, to draw water from the well of tradition, and to be refreshed by grace.
