Technical Workshop:

The Face of Christ

3-Day Workshop

April 8th, 10th, 12th

Monday - Wednesday - Friday

9am - 3pm Mountain Time

This technical workshop will provide you with the opportunity to practice highlighting the face of an icon with little to no attention given to other parts of the icon. In this case we will paint the face of Christ, which is good practice for most male saints with beards. We will take our time on each highlight, giving a day between sessions for further practice or catch up. Through this experience you will learn how easy it is to create a practice icon - a useful tool for future icon projects. Bonus: the end result is both interesting and rather beautiful (see examples)!

All levels of experience welcome!
