SHIPPING – DOMESTIC

We provide free U.S. shipping via USPS Priority Mail for the purchase of hand-painted Icons. Other items  such as Icon prints, cards and gifts are shipped via USPS Priority Mail, and shipping is paid for by the customer.  Shipping costs vary by product and will be calculated at checkout.  Many of our items are made to order, and can take up to two weeks production time prior to shipping.  Once in stock, orders ship in approximately 1 to 3 business days, not including the weekend, holidays, or during sales.  This standard processing time allows us time to allocate your order, pack, and ship correctly. For U.S. shipping, the arrival time after shipping is an estimated 3 – 5 business days. If multiple items are ordered consisting of in-stock products and made-to-order products, your order may be shipped in separate packages.  If this happens, you will receive multiple tracking numbers as your products are shipped.  If you have special requests like signature confirmation or insurance, feel free to reach out to us. If you are interested in expedited shipping, please reach out to us for options.  We ask our customers to please be patient and give your order sufficient time to arrive. We will always try our best.

RETURNS/ CANCELLATIONS​

If your item arrives damaged we will gladly send a replacement.  Unfortunately we cannot accept returns for any other reasons.  Please ask us any questions you might have prior to placing an order.  If you wish to cancel an order prior to being sent to production, we may be able to accommodate, but once an item is sent to production or has been shipped, we are no longer able to cancel.

DIGITAL DOWNLOAD – TERMS OF USE

Recordings of past retreats and all digital downloadable instructional materials are provided for individual, personal use only. Purchase grants a non-transferable license to view and use the content for private study and practice. You may not copy, reproduce, share, distribute, upload, stream, publicly display, teach from, or resell these materials in whole or in part, whether for free or for profit. This includes sharing files with friends, students, groups, parishes, or online platforms. All content—including video, audio, images, written materials, and demonstrations—remains the intellectual property of Sophia Icon Studio and the instructors. Unauthorized use, duplication, or distribution is prohibited. By purchasing and downloading these materials, you agree to these terms.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS​

Original icons or prints purchased from Sophia Icon Studio Store may not be photocopied, digitized, re-printed or duplicated in any way. The client retains ownership of the artwork, but Kara Gillette and Sophia Icon Studio retain the copyright to the artwork created.

 

All instructional materials provided for icon writing retreats and workshops, whether online, in-person, or self guided, are for personal use only, and may not be photocopied, shared or distributed in any way. This includes any materials presented in print or video.

 

Any artworks produced in an icon writing retreat or workshop with Sophia Icon Studio, may not be reproduced and/or sold for commercial purposes in any physical or virtual marketplace. Artworks produced in an icon writing retreat or workshop with Sophia Icon Studio may only be photocopied or reproduced for personal use (ie. copies given as gifts or made into Christmas cards, etc) and not for commercial purposes.
